I would like to introduce myself. My name is Abdul Sabir and I reside in Kabul, Afghanistan. I have worked with the American forces since the 26th of November, 2005. I have traveled to many different provinces during my tour with the American Military and have experienced the hardships of war with them. The provinces I have traveled to are Jalalabad, Kunar, Nuristan, and Kabul. The places in those provinces that I have worked are the Operation Coordination Center – Kabul, the Headquarters Security and Support Brigade Headquarters, and the Presidential Palace in Kabul. The specific units that I have worked with are the C Co., 132 Infantry Battalion, 10th Mountain Division as well as the 118th Co., 48 Infantry Combat Brigade Team. My duties have included translation from Dari, Pashto, and Farsi to English in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My education entails Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Diploma in Information Technology, and a Degree from the International Rescue Committee in English. Since my experience revolves around administrative duties as well as interpretive duties I would be interested in finding a career in administrative linguistics. I am willing to deploy to Afghanistan if the career so demands. My point of contact is sabir_takhari2000@yahoo.com. My resume will be emailed shortly.
Yours Truly
Abdul Sabir
